TONAWANDA, NY - Veteran Pro Modified racer Mike
Stawicki from Medina, New York will debut his all new Stealth
67 Pro Modified Camaro built by G-Force Race Cars Inc. www.GForceRaceCars.com
at this upcoming Pro Modified Racing Association (PMRA), www.promodifiedracing.com
event at Lancaster Motorsports Park in Clarence, New York this
Friday (August 19) presented by: G-Force Race Cars, Jan-Cen Racing
Engines and Oddy's Racing Inc.
Stawicki,
who has been racing in the popular Pro Modified division since
the late 1980’s, is excited about the new car. “This
is going to be a good car,” stated Stawicki. “It is
definitely our best effort to date. I’m really proud of
my entire team, especially owner Jim Salemi and shop foreman Dave
Smith from G-Force Race Cars, along with Ted Arts from Isolation
Systems for all their relentless time and effort to make this
a reality for me,” he added. “Without them I would
never be able to do this. I’m just really excited to get
back on the track and make some runs”.
The new car
is the first body from the Cynergy Composite molds that were purchased
from Aussie Murray Anderson.
Crew
Chief Jim Salemi says, “This is an awesome body, one of
the best that I have ever had to work with. Tim Hodgins from Cynergy
Composites has done a great job with reproduction of the body
and Murray Anderson did an awesome job creating it. We have gone
back to basics as far as our chassis design is concerned and has
seemed to work well in our initial testing. Now we are just excited
to go racing and do as well as we can”.
Stawicki
will compete on the IHRA trail as much as possible from now to
the end of the year. He will also compete at the remaining PMRA
races. “I would love to run at Indy as well but everyone
that has supported the AMS deal this year gets first shot at going.
We will be ready if they call. The PMRA races are nice cause they
are close to home and pay well to win. Plus it’s always
nice to support a hometown series. We will race as much as possible
from now until the end of the year”.
