This weekend will see Niagara Fall’s drag racing standout Joe Boniferro appear at the CarFixWORLD show at the National Trade Centre in Toronto’s Exhibition Place. CarFixWORLD is Canada’s first national trade event dedicated to the service and repair providers in the automotive aftermarket and is only open to members of the trade.

Boniferro stated “CarFixWORLD is the ideal place for us to showcase both drag racing and our Smokin’ Joe’s Racing Pro Modified Dodge Avenger. The schoolkids that will attend the show on Friday will be able to see that the automotive trade can be fun and exciting when they get into the racing and aftermarket side of the business. The show is also a great place for us to showcase our sponsors from the automotive trade, companies like Pennzoil, NGK Spark Plugs, Mickey Thompson Tires, Manton Pushrods, Scott Jahren Paint and The Balancing Act. Without support from these companies, it is very tough for us to go racing. We appreciate all the support they give us. We are also here to talk about the two sanctioning bodies that give us a place to race. The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) puts on two amazing events here in Ontario and if you have never been to one you really show put it on your calendar in 2007. The Pro Modified Racing Association (PMRA) is Ontario, Quebec and New York State based and features some of the best Pro Modified racers in North America. We are currently joint leaders in the Championship with one round to go, it would be great if we could encourage people to come out to Lancaster Dragway and see the finale.” You can talk to Boniferro and his crew from Friday afternoon on.
