New
Boston, MI -
For immediate release - 2004
has been a transitional year for the Michigan based team of
Bill and Marsha Rowe. The
year started off well with the Detroit Autorama where the team’s
new Pontiac Grand Am garnered the best Competition car award.
Once the Raging Eagle team started testing niggly new car blues
kept the team from performing to their best abilities. The
week before the Sunoco World Nationals at Norwalk Raceway Park
saw Rowe dip into the sixes for the first time with a 6.97-second
pass. Further testing at US 131 Raceway Park saw the blown
Grand Am record a timeslip with a 6.71 on it.
Now
Rowe is ready to play! An interested spectator in the pits
at the 2003 version of the Summit Classic Rowe enjoyed
himself that much the event was a must on his 2004 schedule. “There
are some real good cars out there, look at the numbers Boniferro
runs. We will just be happy if we make the Frantic 4 field
and have a bit of fun to end the year on.” commented
Rowe before heading to Norwalk for another test session prior
to the event. “Even with all the troubles we have had
it has been quite a year. The car was good enough to have
won the Ridler award at the Autorama if we had let it be
judged, I made my first ever six second and 200 mph passes
and I am getting more comfortable in the car with every pass
and now I can have some fun at the Classic” was Rowe’s
final comment.

The first round of qualifying is on Friday at 5:00 pm followed
by two rounds on Saturday. First round of the Frantic 4 event
is at 6:50 on Saturday with the final following the Kids
Trick or Treat.
Bill
and Marsha Rowe would like to thank the following people

Coatings, HeadsUpRacer.com Dyno Dave and all at Dyno Dave Motorsports.
