Are
you ready? Had enough of winter and need a fix. Well this weekend
has a solution for everyone. The NSCA opener is being
held at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA. Frosty and his
guys from the UK have come over and will challenge the best the
USA and Canada can throw at them in the World Street Challenge.
We hear Frosty and the boys have already made some laps in testing.
Camp Stanley will be there with the John Stanley Axle Weiss Camaro
respendant in it's purple and orange. Another new look will come
from the ProCar stable, just wait to you see it, I'm sworn to
secrecy so can tell you nothing! Event details can be found on NSCA-Racing.com
Further North,
Bobby Bennett is putting on another of his excellent Competition
Plus Spring Open events. As well as the usual classes there will
be a LS1 shootout featuring the record holding LS1 of event sponsor
Hardcore Motorsports. Mike Janis will be debuting his new Eaton
sponsored Stratus and Toronto's own Ray Commisso brings out his
brand new G-Force built 'Punisher' '63 Vette. Details on the
Hardcore Motorsports Spring Open can be found on Competition
Plus
For
those of us still in the frozen North the ever impressive Performance
World opens on Friday at 10:00 am. I will be there over the weekend
supporting Trish Biro on the RPM Magazine booth. Drop by and
say hello. We do not know of any new racecars due to debut at
the show but will have plenty of photos to show you over the
weekend. The show website can be found at the Performance
World Website
